BOOKING AND PAYMENT
A £60 deposit per cottage per week secures a booking.
Balance is due one month before rental commences.
Winter lets are available by special arrangement.
WHAT YOU NEED TO TAKE WITH YOU
Sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers
as required by your party to fit, for each cottage: one 4'-6" double bed,
two 3'-0" single beds and one 2'-6" single bed.
Towels and tea towels.
The above does not apply if you have asked us to provide linen.
If you do require us to provide linen we supply bed linen and towels for a supplement of £12 per
single bed and £15 per double bed.
A cot will be found in the bicycle store.
A mattress is provided but no bedding.
WHAT IS PROVIDED FOR YOU
All the usual household items such as crockery,
cutlery, cooking utensils etc..
If you have asked us to provide linen you will get
for each single bed occupied 2 pillow cases, 1 bottom sheet, 1 duvet cover, 1 hand towel
and 1 bath towel. For each double bed occupied you will get 4 pillow cases, 1 bottom sheet,
1 duvet cover, 2 hand towels and 2 bath towels. Your party will also be provided with
2 tea towels and 2 kitchen towels.
There is a radio/cassette/CD player in cottage one
(but bring your own tapes and CDs) and a selection of books and games. There is a
radio/cassette/CD player and a television in cottage two.
A washing machine, bicycles, barbeque and a selection of
sports equipment (tennis racquets etc.,) will be found in the store
next to the covered terrace. Outdoor furniture is provided
plus a sunshade if you wish to use the terrace overlooking the river valley.
The cottages are all electric
and you are entitled to use 80 units per week for each.
This should be more than adequate for cooking and hot water.
Additional units will be charged at cost and deducted
from the deposit paid to the Caretaker.
Water is metered and you may use up to
4000 litres per week. As with electricity any excess
will be charged at cost.
ARRANGEMENTS ON ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Changeover day is Saturday for normal weekly bookings.
Arrival and departure days will be as arranged when using our flexible scheme.
On arrival (between 4pm and 6pm unless otherwise arranged)
collect the keys from the Caretaker.
A 75 euro deposit per cottage will be taken
by the Caretaker on your arrival to cover breakages, additional
cleaning charges, etc., if incurred. The deposit will
be returned to you in full on departure unless extra charges are
incurred.
The property should be vacated by 10:00 am
on the day of departure. Needless to say it should be
left clean and tidy as you found it. If cleaning is needed
when the caretaker checks this will be charged at a rate of
8 euro per hour.
